About Us

Oxford Investment Opportunity Network Limited (OION Ltd) is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under reference number 564525. OION Ltd operates the following three Investment Networks which combined aim to provide investors with the widest possible range of investment opportunities, both in terms of stage of development and capital requirements. OION Ltd is Oxford based but with a nationwide focus and will therefore consider opportunities from across the UK.

Oxford Investment Opportunity Network (OION) was established in 1994 as one of the UK’s first business angel networks. OION has a particular interest in companies with a strong barrier to entry, often patented; but will consider any company with a strong vision for growth and seeking investment from £200k to ~£2m. We link qualified Investors (High Net Worth, Sophisticated and Institutional) to companies with high growth potential.

Thames Valley Investment Network (TVIN) was established in 2003 targeting companies with a focus on first mover advantage and technology including FMCG, web, digital media and green-technology. Companies are typically seeking investment between £150k to ~£750k.

Oxford Early Investments (OEI) provides an early opportunity for investors to view high quality, selected proposals that offer high growth potential. The Network has strong links with providers of new deal flow including universities, research institutes, large companies and individual entrepreneurs undertaking development of innovative ideas. Companies are typically seeking investment of £100k to ~£250k.

Following the success of the OION 2015 & 2016 SEIS Funds, OION Ltd is pleased to continue the collaboration with Innvotec for the launch and development of the OION Fund - investing in to both EIS & SEIS qualifying companies.

OION Ltd is part of the SQW Group and as a result can access a wide range of complimentary services to growth focused businesses whilst taking advantage of the numerous contacts available through SQW’s work in the field of economic and social development. These services include Oxford Innovation's nationwide network of innovation centres and a comprehensive network of business advisers as a result of delivering a number of business support programmes.
