SESSION 2 // WHAT WILL OUR FOOD LOOK LIKE IN THE FUTURE?

We’ve seen the sky-rocketing rise of veganism, more footfall at local farmers markets during COVID when supermarket shelves were empty, and many people in general starting to wake up to the health, environmental and ethical implications of what’s on their plate. We also know our current food systems are fundamentally unsustainable – both for the planet and for those in food poverty.

But what will our food look like in the future? Will we all be eating plants, bugs or lab-grown meat? Will larger producers continue to predominate or will local/community food-growing escalate? Join us for a fascinating conversation about what will be on the end of your fork in years to come…

WHEN: Wednesday 24 November 2021 at 9.30-11.00AM
