NESTA is the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts.

Our mission is to transform the UK’s capacity for innovation. NESTA Ventures aims to combine investment with non-financial support to help businesses turn their ideas into commercial success. Our target level first round of investment is £250,000 which will be delivered in tranches to match the needs of the company’s cash flow.

Our maximum total investment per company will be £750,000 and we are happy to co invest with others. When we choose to invest, after substantial due diligence, we will aim to add value to our Investment and this may take the form of mentors, interim managers or specialist support such as licensing or patenting experts.
